EUROPEAN AUTO CLASSIC ist eine vorrangig touristische Veranstaltung für max. 110 klassische Autos bis Baujahr 1980 aller Marken Wir möchten alle zwei Jahre den Teilnehmern die Stadt Leipzig und die Region näher bringen.
Durch Kontaktaufnahme zu Bürgern und Institutionen in Leipzigs europäischen Partnerstädten wollen wir die Partnerschaften durch Einladung von Oldtimer-Freunden aus diesen Städten („International“) beleben. Unser Jahresmotto der Veranstaltung im Jahr 2008 hat die Motorsport-Epoche 1950 – 1986 mit den Auto-Marken Alfa Romeo, BMW und Porsche in Erinnerung gerufen. Zum 100-jährigen Markenjubiläum von Alfa Romeo stellen wir mit dem Jahresmotto 2010 die italienischen Autos in den Mittelpunkt.

Die Teams fahren ihre Autos einzeln nach Roadbook durch schöne Straßen und Stadtteile zu sehenswerten, kulturell und wirtschaftlich wichtigen Punkten der Stadt, an denen wir Durchfahrtskontrollen (DK) eingerichtet haben, wie z. B. Neue Messe, General-Olbricht-Kaserne, Breitenfelder Straße mit Leipziger Käsehaus, Zentralstadion, Alfa Romeo Kamps sportivo, WÜRTH – Der Montageprofi“, Thomaskirche, Stasi-Unterlagen-Behörde, Gewandhaus, Bundesverwaltungsgericht, MDR Media-City, Markkleeberger See mit dem Ferien- und Freizeitpark „Seepark Auenhain“ und „Wildwasser-Kanuanlage“.
An den Durchfahrtskontrollen erfolgen Wertungen für die „Classic Challenge“. Die Stadt-Tour „Leipzig erfahren!“ soll Anregungen geben für spätere individuelle Einzelbesuche der Stationen durch die Teilnehmer. Abendessen im Traditionsrestaurant „Auerbachs Keller" Samstag, 19.06.2010

Die auswärtigen Teilnehmer haben vormittags das Porsche- oder das BMW-Werk besucht oder an einer Stadtführung teil genommen. Sie haben jetzt die Möglichkeit - mit Start am BMW Werk – an der Stadt-Tour „Leipzig erfahren“ teil zu nehmen.

Zeit für Gespräche mit den auswärtigen Oldtimer-Freunden, Gelegenheit, den Gästen die Innenstadt und z. B. die Nikolai-Kirche oder die Aussicht vom „Panorama-Tower“ zu zeigen.
Pro Auto mit zwei Personen zahlen Sie für die drei Fahrten mit sämtlichem Tourmaterial, Kaffee-Pause am Markkleeberger See und Mittagessen am Cospudener See 75 € und für jede weitere Person 15 €. Ggf. zuzüglich für die Teilnahme am „City-Corso WEMPE-Ehrenpreis“ mit Essen im Rathaus.
Wir bitten Sie – wie auch die Teilnehmer am Gesamt-Programm - um eine freiwillige Zahlung zu Gunsten des Jugendkompetenzprogramms Lions-Quest „Erwachsen werden“, eine Prävention gegen Drogen und Gewalt an Schulen.

EUROPEAN AUTO CLASSIC is a rather touristic event for a maximum for 110
Vintage cars of all makes manufactured up to 1980
and for the ‘already classic’ BMW Z1 and Z8
Every two years we give the participants the chance to experience Leipzig and its region. Well one ‘Classic Challenge’ and ‘Guessing Leipzig’ quiz supporting this endeavour.
The implementation of our youth competence programme Lions-Quest ‘Growing up’ as well as the implementation plans of ‘SKILLS FOR ACTION’ for older adolescents are very important for us. The voluntary payments of the participants in addition to the entry fee and the proceeds of the tombola will go into the supportive measures.
We want to support Leipzig’s partnerships with European sister cities through the invitation of vintage car friends and through well-targeted networking with contacts from those cities.
Our motto of the meeting of 2008 has brought into mind the motor sports era between 1950 and 1986 with the makes of cars Alfa Romeo, BMW and Porsche.
For the celebration of the centenary of the Alfa Romeo we will focus on the Italian cars with our motto of 2010 ‘belle macchine italiane – 100 anni Alfa Romeo’.
Of course we are looking forward to vintage cars of all makes from all over the world.

According to the choice made on the registration form the participants will have the possibility to either visit the Porsche factory with a FIA certified test track or the BMW plant or take part in a city tour.
After lunch all participants will meet in the refectory of the BMW plant.
Start of the big city tour, ‘Experiencing Leipzig!’
Following the road book, the teams will drive individually, through beautiful streets and districts to interesting, culturally and economically important points in the city where we will set up check points (DK) such as the New Trade Fair Leipzig, the General-Olbricht-barracks, Breitenfelder Straße with the Leipzig Cheese House, Gohlis Palace, Schiller House, Central Stadium, Alfa Romeo Kamps sportive, WÜRTH group, St Thomas’ Church, Stasi-Unterlagen-Behörde, Gewandhaus Concert Hall, Federal Administrative Court, MDR Media-City, Lake Markkleeberg with the holiday and amusement park ‘Seepark Auenhain’ and the white water canoeing park, BMW dealership, Russian St Alexis’ Memorial Church.
At the check points there will be the judging for the ‘Classic Challenge’. The city tour ‘Experiencing Leipzig!’ is to give inspiration for the participant’s individual visits to the sights afterwards.

Visit of the biggest monumental construction in Europe.
Drive through the Leipzig Lowland with the Eula valley and the region ‘Elsteraue’
The teams will experience the New Lake District with the world’s most modern lignite power station Lippendorf; they will have a view of the Belantis amusement park and will drive around the Lake Cospuden with a ‘maritime lunch break’ directly at the port overlooking yachts, sailing, rowing and paddle boats
Driving through the city of Markkleeberg we will head towards the Clara Zetkin Park

Augustusplatz square – presentation of the cars in front of the Opera Ivouse.
Time for an individual shopping tour in the city centre

Individual departure
The welcome dinner at the restaurant ‘Fra Diavolo’, the lunch at BMW and the three dinners as well as the bus shuttle service are included in the entry fee.
Drinks at the ‘Auerbachs Keller’ restaurant and ‘DaCapo’ are not included.
A service vehicle and an ambulance will accompany the tours.
Participants travelling with a trailer have the possibility to park the towing vehicle and the trailer at the works of the BMW branch close to the motorway A14 and intechange AS24. You will receive directions for the 11 km to the meeting point at ‘Burgplatz’ square.

This year, we didn’t include a visit of the very popular Leipzig Zoo. The construction of the spectacular ‘Gondwanaland’ is about to be completed and a visit is planned for the meeting in 2012.

EUROPEAN AUTO CLASSIC è una manifestazione soprattutto turistica per massimo 110
auto classiche di tutte le marche fino all’anno di costruzione 1980
e per i “già classici” BMW Z1 e Z8
Ogni due anni intendiamo far conoscere meglio ai partecipanti la città di Lipsia e la sua regione.
Il nostro questionario del “Classic Challenge“ e le Vostre risposte a “Lipsia si deve – indovinare“ hanno la finalità di sostenere questa iniziativa.
La realizzazione del programma di competenza per i giovani Lions-Quest “Diventare adulti” nonché il progetto di applicazione di “SKILLS FOR ACTION“ per i ragazzi più grandi (“Lions“) sono un nostro obiettivo fondamentale. Le somme versate volontariamente dai partecipanti oltre alla quota di partecipazione ed il ricavato della Tombola verranno devoluti per progetti di sostegno.
Contattando in modo mirato le città europee gemellate con Lipsia intendiamo rivitalizzare (internazionalmente) i gemellaggi, invitando gli appassionati delle macchine d’epoca di queste città.
Il motto della manifestazione dell’anno 2008 ha rievocato l’epoca del motosport 1950 – 1986 con i marchi Alfa Romeo, BMW e Porsche.
In occasione del centenario dell’Alfa Romeo con il motto dell’anno 2010 “Belle macchine italiane – 100 anni di Alfa Romeo” vogliamo celebrare l’auto italiana.
Naturalmente saremo lieti di accogliere i classici di tutte le marche di tutti i Paesi.

A seconda di quanto indicato nel modulo d’iscrizione i partecipanti hanno la possibilità di visitare al mattino lo stabilimento della Porsche con il circuito di prova certificato FIA oppure lo stabilimento della BMW oppure di partecipare alla visita guidata alla città.

I team guideranno le loro vetture in base al Roadbook su belle strade e quartieri per raggiungere punti della città d’interesse culturale ed economico in cui avremo allestito controlli di passaggio, come per es. la Nuova Fiera, la Caserma General Olbricht, la Breitenfelder Straße con il Caseificio di Lipsia, la villa Gohliser Schlösschen, la casa di Schiller, lo stadio centrale, il campo sportivo Alfa Romeo, WÜRTH – Der Montageprofi“, la chiesa di S. Tommaso, l’ex sede centrale della Stasi, l’auditorium Gewandhaus, il Tribunale amministrativo federale, il centro radio-televisivo MDR, il lago di Markkleeberg con il parco vacanze e tempo libero “Seepark Auenhain“ e il percorso naturale per canoe, la filiale della BMW, la Chiesa russa ortodossa.
Nei punti di controllo verranno realizzate le valutazioni per il “Classic Challenge“. Il giro della città “Conoscere Lipsia!“ intende fornire stimoli e suggerimenti per successive visite dei partecipanti più personalizzate.
Cena nel ristorante tradizionale “Auerbachs Keller".

Partenza per la campagna di Lipsia con la valle “Eulatal“ e la brughiera “Elsteraue“.
I team potranno conoscere la nuova area lacustre di Lipsia con la centrale termoelettrica più moderna del mondo, il “Braunkohlekraftwerk Lippendorf“; vista sul parco di divertimenti “Belantis Park“, giro del lago Cospuden e “pausa pranzo marittima” direttamente al porto, con vista sugli yacht, le barche a vela, le barche a remi e i pedalò.
Attraversando la cittadina di Markkleeberg arriviamo al parco cittadino di Lipsia “Clara Zetkin Park“, dove aveva luogo la gara automobilistica “Scheibenholz“.

Il pranzo di benvenuto al “Fra Diavolo“, il pranzo allo stabilimento BMW e le tre cene nonché il Bus-Shuttle sono compresi nella quota di partecipazione.
All’”Auerbachs Keller“ e al “Da Capo“ si dovranno pagare extra le bevande.
Un’auto di servizio e una di assistenza sanitaria accompagneranno i giri.
I partecipanti che viaggiano con Trailer possono parcheggiare vicino all’autostrada A 14 sulla AS 24 nella filiale della BMW presso lo stabilimento di produzione BMW. Forniremo una descrizione del tratto di circa 11 km per raggiungere il punto di ritrovo in piazza Burgplatz.

In questo raduno non abbiamo previsto una visita al famoso “Zoo di Lipsia“.
I lavori di costruzione della nuova area spettacolare “Gondwanaland“ sono infatti in via di ultimazione, cosicché potrebbe essere un punto di programma per il prossimo raduno nell’anno 2012.

voitures classiques de toutes marques, fabriquées jusqu’à l’année 1980 et pour les classiques BMW Z 1 et Z 8.
Tous les deux ans, les participants ont la possibilité de connaître et d’apprécier la ville Leipzig et sa région.
Nos questions de „Classic Challenge“ (compétition) et vos réponses sur „Leipzig, il faut deviner“ aident à réaliser cette intention.
La réalisation de notre projet de compétence pour les jeunes „Lions Quest – devenir adulte“ ainsi que l’implémentation de „Skills for Action“ pour les adolescents plus agés („Lions“) est pour nous une grande demande. Nous mettons le payement bénévole des participants et la recette de la tombola à la disposition de la mesure d’encouragement.
Par les contacts aux villes européennes jumelées nous voudrions stimuler le jumelage par l’invitation des amis des voitures anciennes de ces villes.
Notre devise de la manifestation pour l’année 2008 a évoqué l’époque du sport automobile de 1950 à 1986 avec les marques de voiture Alfa Romeo, BMW et Porsche. Pour le centenaire de la marque Alfa Romeo nous mettons au centre les voitures italiennes avec la devise de l’année 2010 „belle macchine italiane – 100 anni Alfa Romeo“. Naturellement nous serons contents de voir toutes les marques du monde entier.
L’arrivée des participants sur la place „Burgplatz“ à côté du nouvel hôtel de ville „Neues Rathaus“. Les participants recevront à l’heure une description d’itinéraire.

Selon votre choix sur le formulaire d’inscription vous aurez la possibilité de visiter soit l’usine de Porsche avec la piste d’essai soit l’usine de BMW ou bien vous pourrez participer à une visite guidée de la ville.
Après le déjeuner de tous les participants dans le caféteria de l’usine BMW. Début du grand tour de ville „Découvrez Leipzig“.
Les équipes conduisront leurs voitures d’après un Roadbook par des belles rues et des beaux quartiers à des curiosités d’une importance culturelle et économique où nous installerons des contrôles de passage. Ce sont par exemple la nouvelle foire (Neue Messe), la caserne de général Olbricht (General-Olbricht-Kaserne), la rue Breitenfelder avec la maison de fromage de Leipzig (Breitenfelder Straße mit Leipziger Käsehaus), le château de Gohlis (Gohliser Schlösschen), la maison-musée de Schiller (Schillerhaus), le stade central (Zentralstadion) , Alfa Romeo Kamps sportivo, Würth – Der Montageprofi, l’église Saint Thomas (Thomaskirche), le musée de Stasi, la salle de concert (Gewandhaus), le tribunal administratif de la République fédérale (Bundesverwaltungsgericht), la radio régionale (MDR), Media City, le lac de Markleeberg avec les parcs de loisirs (Markleeberger See), le parc Auenhain (Seenpark Auenhain) et le complex de canoë (Wildwasser-Kanuanlage), l’établissement de BMW (BMW Niederlassung) et l’église commémorative russe (Russische Kirche).
Aux points de contrôle il y aura les évaluations pour les „Classic Challenge“. Le tour de la ville „Découvrez Leipzig’“ devrait donner l’incitation pour des visites individuelles.

Les équipes connaîtront les lacs „Leipziger Neuseenland“, passeront la centrale thermique au lignite la plus moderne à Lippendorf („Braunkohlekraftwerk Lippendorf“), ils regarderont le parc d’attractions de Leipzig „Belantis“, ils feront le tour autour du lac de Cospuden et ils prendront le déjeuner maritime au port „Pier 1“ avec une vue manifique sur des yachts, des bateaux à voiles et des barques.
En passant la ville Markkleeberg nous dirigerons vers Leipzig au parc „Clara-Zetkin“ – „Course du parc public à Leipzig – autour de Scheibenholz“ – file de voiture sur ce circuit historique.
Place „Augustusplatz – Présentation des voitures avec modération devant l’opéra de Leipzig. Occasion pour une promenade individuelle dans le centre-ville, pour visiter par exemple l’église Nikolaikirche ou bien la tour „Panorama Tower“
„Da Capo“ – la fin solennelle avec une visite du musée des voitures anciennes (Oldi-Bus-Schuttle/Navette) – Dîner – des hommages – Tombola „Lions Quest“

Le repas d’accueil dans le restaurant „Fra Diavolo“, le déjeuner czhe BMW et les trois dîners ainsi que la navette sont inclus dans le prix.
Dans les restaurants „Auerbachs Keller“ et „Da Capo“, les boissons ne sont pas inclus.
Une voiture de service et ambulance accompagnent toujours les tours.
Les participants qui arrivent avec un trailer peuvent garer les vehicules chez BMW près de l’autoroute A 14, AS 24. Pour le 11 km jusqu’au point de rendez-vous) vous recevrez une description du chemin.
